We really enjoyed our stay at this very large property which accommodated perfectly for all 16 of us plus our 3 dogs. The surroundings were peaceful and private and Francesca was a very reliable host, it all went very smoothly.

We were a family group of 16 with three dogs and we had a great long weekend at Francesca's place. The house was huge, with loads of space for lounging around, cooking, and eating, barbecues, and loads of bedrooms. We liked the quirky nature of the house and enjoyed the grounds. The house is located in a beautiful area close to Fairbourne, where we swam, played golf and took the miniature railway and ferry to Barmouth. We also went on a beautiful hike close by. Francesca was very helpful at all points and we found everything we needed in the house, making it a great trip.

We were a group of ladies who wanted a place where we could relax and have a get together to catch up with old friends. The house and surroundings were picture perfect the house was quirky with lots of history but still felt homely. It's an  ideal place if you like walking with lots of trails and a short 20 minute walk to the beautiful beach at Fairbourne. Thank you Francesca for letting us use your amazing house x

What a little (or not so little) gem! Absolutely gorgeous property! Perfect for our group visit to Wales! The surroundings were stunning, the home was equipped with everything! Completely spotless and extremely comfortable. Location was great! Francesca was super friendly and attentive, the communication was always on point. We would love to come back again someday! 10/10 & five star rating all around! Highly recommend

A real gem of a place! Francesca was brilliant from the word go. Answered all my questions had loads of recommendations and great suggestions on places to visit and eat she gave lots of interesting information about the area, the house and the history. Really lovely place to visit.
The house was stocked full of games to keep everyone entertained on rainy days. We are really looking forward to coming back for a murder mystery evening.

We wanted a nice quiet stay, off the beaten track and that’s exactly what we got. Perfect. The location is superb, felt like we were in a little valley (it is Wales after all!) with so much flora and fauna around. The accommodation was excellent, beautifully decorated/furnished with some really interesting pieces and the decor just added to the ambience. There’s a lovely little stroll down to the beach and some great places to pick up something to eat on the walk down…and a miniature railway! Francesca herself was the perfect host, answering all of our numerous questions about the place and locale. Super responsive and super helpful. We will definitely be booking to stay here again and for longer and bringing more friends with me next time, we get the feeling this place will be popular all year round!

Francesca is a wonderful host and her home is magical. There's a real wow factor when driving up to the property to see the trees part and the house come into view. Francesca's directions to find the house were spot on. The parking was plenty big enough for 3 vehicles with space besides.
The check in process was easy and Francesca's instructions were, again, thorough. Francesca's home is gorgeous. From the outside fronting, with the 2 flags (very cool) to the very thoughtfully decorated rooms.  It was lovely and warm, despite the cold outside. It's very airy but also cosy and fit the 5 of us, plus 4 large well-behaved dogs easily. The kitchen & bathrooms were very clean, tidy and everything was easy to find. We all loved the bar and I nabbed my chance to play landlord of the Queen Vic. We explored outside also, the dogs (and us) loved the space and wildlife. It's so peaceful I will return in summer. Thank you Francesca, you gave us the perfect weekend stay!

This property is huge! There are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for multiple family members.
The living room with fireplace / bar combo was a great spot for us all to sit and chat. There is a second living room for gathering if you want a bit of quiet but don’t have to go to your room. The dining room is very large and easily sits 10 at once. It feels very grand! There is a waterfall right outside the property which is gorgeous to see and you can hear it if you open the windows or sit outside
